Location: Central London – The London Clinic
Salary: £28ph (Umbrella Rates)
Hours: 35 hours per week or minimum 3 days per week available (Temporary)

We are looking for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Therapies team at The London Clinic.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse inpatient caseload, supporting patients within orthopaedics, general surgery, intensive care, oncology, and haemato-oncology.
You will manage your own clinical caseload, respond to urgent referrals, and work closely with Physiotherapists and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and prioritise a varied inpatient clinical caseload.
* Complete Occupational Therapy assessments and treatment planning.
* Support complex discharge planning.
* Respond effectively to urgent referrals and changing clinical priorities.
* Assess and provide appropriate equipment, aids and appliances.
* Work collaboratively with Physiotherapy and the wider MDT.
* Attend clinical reviews and case conferences as required.
* Maintain accurate clinical records, goals and outcome measures.
* Work in accordance with RCOT and professional clinical guidelines.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Essential Requirements
* BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
* HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
* Minimum 2 years' experience working at the Band 6 level.
* Strong clinical caseload management skills.
* Excellent MDT communication and teamwork skills.
* Confident working autonomously within an inpatient environment.
Desirable Experience
Experience within one or more of the following areas would be advantageous:
* Oncology or haemato-oncology.
* Orthopaedics.
* General surgery.
* Intensive care.
* Complex discharge planning.
