This is an excellent opportunity to work in a setting where therapy is fully integrated into each student's day, enabling you to make a meaningful impact on their independence, participation and overall development.
Alongside managing your own caseload, you'll have the opportunity to guide junior therapists and contribute to the continued development of the Occupational Therapy service.
Key Responsibilities Band 6 Occupational Therapist
Manage a paediatric caseload across two specialist school sites.
Deliver functional, goal-focused Occupational Therapy interventions.
Support pupils to develop independence, daily living and community participation skills.
Contribute to EHCP reviews and multidisciplinary reports.
Build strong partnerships with families, teachers and fellow clinicians.
Provide supervision and support to junior Occupational Therapists.
You'll be:
HCPC registered (or eligible to register).
Qualified in Occupational Therapy.
Experienced in paediatric practice or school-based services.
A confident communicator who enjoys working within a multidisciplinary environment.
