Salary: £17.00 – £18.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Overtime: Paid at 1⅓ x Monday to Friday and 1½ x on Saturdays.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Manual Machinist to join our skilled engineering team at our Essex facility.

The Role
As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality engineered components used within the railway industry. Working from engineering drawings, you will manufacture parts using a range of manual & cnc mills / while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Operate manual milling machines and manual lathes.
* Manufacture bespoke components to provided tolerances.
* Carry out general engineering and machining.
* Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are achieved.
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Experience operating Manual Milling Machines.
* Experience using Manual Lathes.
* A strong background in manual machining and general engineering.
* The ability to accurately read engineering drawings.
* Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship.
* A reliable and positive approach to work.
