Full-Time
You will be working as part of a 10 man production team. Ideal candidate must have an interest in precision machining to ISO tolerances. An eye for detail and ability to read a 2D cad drawings.
Desirable Skills:
Competent and capable of using with Colchester 600 manual lathes.
5000vs manual milling m/c.
Machining high and low value metal and plastic parts to tight tolerances up to +-0.005mm
Competent in using NC saw, manual lathe and manual mill.
Practiced in interpreting technical drawings.
Able to machine to tight tolerances.
Enthusiastic, forward thinking, able to work under own initiative.
Flexible team player.
Able to demonstrate a passion for 'practical' engineering through hobbies, qualifications, or professional experience.
Any welding experience is a bonus
You will be machining materials such as:
Stainless steel but includes
Aluminium,
Brass,
Bronze,
Igus,
Plastics
