Moorfields NHS Trust Quality & Safety department have a vacancy for an experienced Head of Quality and Safety to manage the team for up to nine months. The position will be located at the City Road site and hybrid working options are available.

Moorfields Quality and Safety team comprises of risk and safety (including patient safety), health and safety, clinical audit and regulatory compliance functions.

Key results areas include:

* Managing an experienced team to maintain high performance

* Ensuring risks, incidents and audits are managed efficiently to trust standards

* Delivering the quality priorities and quality account for 2026/27

* Supporting the management of Quality and Safety Committee

* Leading, contributing and support other committees such as Clinical Governance Committee, Risk and Safety Committee etc

* Preparation for regulator visits, for example CQC.

Essential Criteria:

* Substantial experience of leading quality and safety teams at a senior level

* Focus and success of meeting deadlines and achieving good outcomes in all areas of quality and safety

* Excellent staff management and engagement skills

* Experience of working in a CQC regulated environment
