We're recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Shift Engineer to join the engineering team at a prestigious commercial skyscraper in the heart of Liverpool Street.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high-profile commercial environment, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and supporting the smooth operation of critical building services.
The Role
Working as part of a professional on-site maintenance team, your responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on mechanical plant.
* Reactive maintenance and fault finding when required.
* Maintaining AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, valves, pipework and associated HVAC equipment.
* Plant room inspections and routine checks.
* Monitoring building systems and ensuring statutory compliance.
* Completing maintenance records using the site's CAFM system.
* Working safely in line with health & safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
* NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2/3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* Previous experience within commercial building maintenance.
* Good knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services.
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* A proactive, reliable approach with excellent communication skills.
* Experience working in a high-rise commercial or critical environment is advantageous.

* Continental shift pattern (Days & Nights)
* 7:00am–7:00pm / 7:00pm–7:00am
