Primary Teacher - One-Year Fixed Term Opportunity

A friendly and forward-thinking primary school in Lambeth is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Primary Teacher for a one-year fixed-term contract beginning in September 2026.

As a Primary Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across the primary curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive
Monitor progress using assessment to inform teaching and targeted support
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and collaborative projects

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for a Primary Teacher who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has recent experience teaching within a UK primary school
Demonstrates excellent classroom management and strong curriculum knowledge
Has high expectations for behaviour, progress and achievement
Is reflective, adaptable and committed to continuous professional developmentApplications are welcomed from experienced teachers and strong Early Career Teachers.
