Role Title: Pega Engineer

Duration: contract to run until 31/12/2026

Location: Remote

Rate: up to £414 p/d Umbrella inside IR35

Clearance required: Active SC Clearance

Role purpose / summary

We are seeking an experienced Pega engineer to support the design, development, and delivery of Pega-based solutions. The successful candidate will have strong hands-on Pega development experience, integration expertise, and the ability to work within secure and regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable Pega solutions aligned to business and technical requirements.
Design, build, and support integrations with internal and external systems.
Conduct solution reviews and ensure adherence to Pega best practices.
Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and testers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Support governance, security, and compliance requirements.

Essential Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years' hands-on experience working with Pega technology at a developer level.
Strong understanding of system integrations, including APIs, web services, and messaging-based solutions.
PCSSA (Pega Certified System Architect) certification as a minimum.

Desirable Requirements

4+ years' experience working with Pega technologies.
PCLSA Part 1 certification.
Experience delivering projects within UK Government departments or agencies.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Additional Pega certifications.

Skills & Competencies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
Strong understanding of solution design, application architecture, and development best practices.
Commitment to delivering high-quality, secure, and maintainable solutions.
