Are you an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for your next rewarding role? We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming Primary School in Croydon. The school is known for its inclusive ethos, supportive leadership team, and commitment to helping every child thrive academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver high-quality learning activities across EYFS and KS1 under the guidance of class teachers.
· Lead whole-class teaching when required, covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
· Provide targeted small group and one-to-one interventions to support pupil progress.
· Assist in planning, assessing, and monitoring learning outcomes.
· Support positive behaviour management and foster a nurturing learning environment.
· Contribute to the wider school community, supporting enrichment activities and school events.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
· HLTA status or equivalent Level 4 qualification (desired).
· Previous experience supporting learning across EYFS and/or KS1.
· Strong behaviour management skills and a proactive approach.
· Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
· Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
