The School and Role

A lovely Primary School in Newcastle Upon Tyne are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 2 team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will support the class teacher in delivering a high-quality, inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive. The role will involve a combination of whole-class support and targeted 1:1 assistance, helping to meet the individual needs of pupils and promote their academic and personal development. This is a long-term role, commecing in the new academic year.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will:

- Have experience of working within KS2.

- Hold a Level 2 Teaching Qualification or above.

- Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Have a friendly and enthusiastic personality.

- Have an ability to offer differentiated learning and support pupils with SEND.
