Part Time Payroll Administrator
Up to £30k (FTE) – Doncaster DN5

If you are a detail-focused payroll administrator looking for 3 to 4 days per week (24 – 32 hours Monday to Thursday) this might be the job for you! You will play an important role in a busy team, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with payroll legislation and company policies. This is a great opportunity for someone with a professional payroll qualification such as Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) or willingness to work towards one – study support is available.
The payroll admin position is based in Doncaster and includes all the usual activities from process weekly hours and payroll data accurately within strict deadlines, inputting overtime, deductions, absence and adjustments to supporting statutory reporting and submissions to HMRC including FPS and EPS and acting as a first point of contact for payroll queries, resolving issues quickly.
To apply for the payroll admin position, you will need previous experience working within payroll processing, good understanding of payroll legislation and HMRC requirements and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables desirable).
As well as a full-time equivalent salary of up to £30k, the position of payroll admin includes:
Hours: (24 – 32 hours Monday to Thursday) usual office hours are 8.30am-5pm
Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays (P/R)
Pension: The Company will make contributions of 7% of earnings into the scheme. In addition, for every 1% the employee contributes the Company will contribute a further 0.5% up to a maximum Company contribution of 10%
Extras: Employee assistance program, free parking, good access via bus and train
Environment: Very busy manufacturing / processing
