Manufacturing Stores Operative
Denham | £27,000–£28,000 | Permanent | Days
A globally recognised aerospace manufacturer in Denham is looking for a Manufacturing Stores Operative to join its team. You'll be working across packing, stores, and internal logistics functions, keeping materials and components moving efficiently through a busy production environment.
What you'll be doing:
Primary and final packing of parts, components, and products to customer and technical requirements
Validating batch numbers, part descriptions, and quantities against SAP, flagging any discrepancies
Ensuring goods are packed correctly with appropriate materials, labels, and addresses clearly visible
Liaising with logistics and shipping teams to ensure goods are ready for dispatch in line with delivery schedules
Picking, packing, and issuing materials and stock from Detail Stores and Raw Material Stores
Taking receipt of materials, goods, and stock from the main factory and external sources
Internal transportation of goods throughout the factory using forklift trucks, electric pallet stackers, and scissor lift equipment
Undertaking Raw Material Stores duties including saw operation (cutting to size) and basic measurement inspection
Carrying out self-inspection and quality checks in line with procedures
Supporting 5S and continuous improvement activities
Adhering to all H&S regulations throughout
What you need:
Stores, packing, or warehouse experience from a manufacturing environment
Structured and methodical approach to work with strong attention to detail
Comfortable handling physical loads and working at pace
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
Basic IT skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
Full UK driving licence desirable - successful candidates will be put forward for forklift truck training

Days: 08:00–17:00 Mon–Thu / 08:00–12:00 Fri
