My client, who have a full nationwide order book are seeking South Yorkshire or North of Derby based electricians for ongoing work (ideally within a 1 hour commute of Rotherham). Their office base is near Rotherham S64. Work is Nationwide so candidates must be prepared to work away (lodgings covered) and although we will endeavour to provide work as close to home as operationally possible.
Candidates will be required to be on an on call rota which also covers weekends. This will be renumerated and paid extra when undertaking on call or overtime duties.
£20 per hour for qualified Electrician (equates to circa £50k annually based on 50 hour week)
Duties include:-
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across clients quarry heavy industrial sites.
Work with MCCs, conveyors, motors, control panels, and instrumentation.
Carry out fault-finding, testing, and inspections to ensure compliance.
Support both planned projects and reactive maintenance work.
Required
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
Electricians who have worked on aggregates, mining, steel, oil/gas or similar heavy industry are preferred. Knowledge of control systems, motors, and PLCs (advantageous but not essential). A commitment to safe working practices.
Full UK clean driving licence.
Fully expensed Company Van
