Industrial Maintenance Electrician

We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Electrician for a permanent position based with our client in Sheffield

Immediate start available (subject to interview process)

Salary is £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

This will be working Monday to Wednesday 8am to 4:30pm, Thursday 8am to 3:30pm & Friday 8am to 12pm

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and industrial machinery.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents.
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to reduce downtime.
Diagnose electrical faults and repair industrial equipment including motors, conveyors, control panels, and PLC systems (not essential).
Ensure all installations and repairs comply with relevant electrical codes and safety standards.
Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to support equipment upgrades or new installations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment efficiency and reliability.Requirements:

Proven experience as an electrician in industry, particularly with machine maintenance.
17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and motor controls.
Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
