Senior Landscape Architect (CMLI)
Join a multi award-winning, design-led practice with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, innovative landscapes. With a growing presence across Ireland, the studio offers a collaborative environment where landscape architects work closely with architects and designers to create meaningful, well-crafted places.
The Role
The team is involved in a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple sectors, ranging in scale and complexity. While not essential, experience in the education sector-particularly working with Department for Education frameworks, the CEM process, and SEN environments-would be beneficial.
This opportunity is suited to a creative and motivated professional who is confident leading projects and supporting teams. You will bring strong design capability, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities & Experience:
Lead projects from concept through to delivery within a multidisciplinary team
Manage multiple projects while maintaining design quality and programme targets
Develop and present high-quality design proposals
Prepare specifications using NBS software
Apply BIM processes within project workflows
Deliver work across all RIBA stages (0-7)
Produce strong visual outputs using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Compile reports and documents using Adobe InDesign
Mentor and support junior colleagues, including those working towards Chartership
Contribute to Biodiversity Net Gain strategies and Landscape & Ecological Management Plans (LEMPs) Essential Requirements:
Degree and/or Master's in Landscape Architecture
Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI)
Minimum 3 years' post-chartership experience (UK or Ireland)
Proven experience leading projects within multidisciplinary teams
Excellent design, communication, and report-writing skills Desirable Skills:
Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) experience
Experience with Heritage Lottery-funded projects
