Are you a curious auditor who wants to make a difference? The Internal Auditing team provides invaluable knowledge by providing recommendations to gauge overall effectiveness and efficiency of Fisher Investment's operations and internal controls. You will directly engage with various departments and entities to provide support and guidance.
The Opportunity:
The Fisher Investments Luxembourg, Ireland Branch (“FIL IE”) is looking for an Internal Audit Program Manager, who will manage and conduct internal audits in various European offices. You will oversee a team of Internal Auditors. The team will audit a broad range of functions and processes throughout the firm. You will report to the Internal Audit VP.
The Day-to-Day:
Manage and conduct multiple audit engagements and staff, ensuring the delivery of quality audit work and timely completion
Responsible for operational, compliance and financial audits for a broad range of functions in European offices
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process
Document internal controls and procedures
Provide recommendations for internal controls and compliance with applicable European laws and regulations. Escalate potentially significant risks and exposures to senior management
Manages audit engagements to ensure the elements meet business requirements completely and efficiently
Coordinates efforts across business units to complete audits
Develops best practices and tools for program execution and management
Develop and manage internal auditors responsible for auditing the operational integrity of various departments throughout the firm
Managerial responsibilities including participating in disciplinary actions for direct reports, as appropriate whilst ensuring day-to-day business support needs are being met
Your Qualifications:
University Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
5+ years relevant audit experience within the financial services industry preferred
Previous audit and project management experience preferred
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word required
Knowledge of CSSF laws, regulations and practices preferred
Ability to analyse operational functions, processes and workflow, and understand interdepartmental relationships
Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and documentation skills
Strong organizational, time management, decision making and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A robust understanding of financial markets, financial instruments and market awareness
German language skills would be beneficial
