Exciting Opportunity: Buyer Wanted in Bracknell, UK!

Salary: £36,000 to £39,000 per annum

Our client, a leading organisation in their industry, is looking for a dynamic Buyer to join their team in Bracknell! Your Role:

As a Buyer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of purchasing processes. Your responsibilities will include:

Order Management: Placing and authorising purchase orders within assigned limits, while expediting orders and tracking deliveries.
Inventory Oversight: Maintaining inventory availability and minimising working capital investment.
Decision Making: Executing stock replenishment, special orders, and drop ship buying, always making cost-effective buying decisions.
Communication: Ensuring accurate purchase order quantities, costs, and terms compliance, while effectively communicating with suppliers and internal departments.
Problem Resolution: Addressing shipping errors and following up on order statuses to ensure timely delivery.
Supplier Performance: Assisting in evaluating supplier performance based on delivery, fill rates, and other key metrics.

The Ideal Candidate:

2-3 years of purchasing experience within a supply chain environment.
Strong knowledge of purchasing and inventory concepts, practices, and procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, alongside strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in analytical skills and computer systems, including Excel and Power BI.
