Location: Ruddington
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

A fantastic opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a global leader in advanced materials and high-performance engineered components. With over 15 manufacturing sites worldwide and annual revenues exceeding £400 million, the business supplies precision-engineered products into the aerospace, defence, semiconductor, energy and industrial sectors
Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:
Analyse production performance and identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity and process capability
Lead root cause investigations into manufacturing, safety and quality issues, implementing effective corrective and preventative actions
Manage capital expenditure projects from quotation through to installation, validation and production implementation
Support the introduction of new products (NPI), equipment and manufacturing processes into production
Identify and deliver automation opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency
Drive Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives across the value stream
Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, process instructions and engineering standards
Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to deliver operational objectives
Manufacturing Engineer Experience:
Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline (Essential)
Previous experience within a precision engineering business (Essential)
Previous experience within a Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer or Continuous Improvement Engineer position
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and Continuous Improvement methodologies
Experience using structured problem-solving techniques including DMAIC, PFMEA and Process Mapping
Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes within a precision engineering or advanced manufacturing environment
