We're supporting a well-established FMCG manufacturer in their search for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced production environment where you'll play a key role in keeping machinery running efficiently and supporting continuous improvement across the site.

Maintenance Engineer
Shift: Panama Days & Nights (7-7)
Salary: £55,000
Location: Leicestershire

What you'll be doing:

You'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment, ensuring everything runs safely and reliably.
This includes carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding quickly to breakdowns, and identifying recurring issues to help drive long-term improvements.
You'll also keep accurate records of work completed, manage spare parts where needed, and support small projects across the site.
Be involved in mentoring apprentices, sharing knowledge, and working closely with both production and engineering colleagues to keep operations on track.What we're looking for:

You'll have a solid grounding in electrical and/or mechanical engineering, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
A recognised qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) is essential, along with strong fault-finding skills and the ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Experience in a similar role, such as (electrical maintenance engineer, multi skilled engineer, shift engineer, engineering technician, maintenance technician, electro-mechanical engineer)
A flexible attitude towards shifts and a strong focus on safety and hygiene standards are also important.What's on offer:
