Location: Moorgate, London
Salary: £48,000 - £50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday | Split Shift Pattern: 7:00am - 4:00pm & 10:00am - 7:00pm
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Corporate Office Building | Moorgate
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our onsite engineering team at a prestigious corporate office building in the heart of Moorgate.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern, high-end commercial environment as part of a well-established team of four engineers. The role offers a great work-life balance with a Monday to Friday schedule, excellent benefits, ongoing training, and genuine career progression.
The Role
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical building services, ensuring the building remains fully operational and maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical building services.
* Maintain HVAC plant including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and associated equipment.
* Complete fault finding, repairs and minor installations.
* Support subcontractors and oversee specialist maintenance visits.
* Ensure all statutory compliance and health & safety procedures are followed.
* Accurately complete maintenance records using the site's CAFM system.
* Work collaboratively as part of a professional team of four onsite engineers.
Requirements
* Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
* Experience working within commercial building maintenance.
* Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical plant.
* Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Experience carrying out both PPM and reactive maintenance.
* Excellent communication skills and a professional approach.
Salary & Benefits
