Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineer looking to join a leading building services provider on a prestigious commercial site in the heart of London?
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to work at a high-profile corporate building based in Bank, London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company that offers outstanding training, career progression, and a comprehensive benefits package.
The Role:
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical building services across a modern commercial environment. The successful candidate will have strong experience working on Fan Coil Units (FCUs) and a solid understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems.
Shift Pattern:
* Monday to Friday
* Week 1: 7:00am – 4:00pm
* Week 2: 9:00am – 6:00pm
* Alternating weekly rotation
Key Responsibilities:
* Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
* Fault finding and repairs on mechanical plant and equipment.
* Servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Fan Coil Units (FCUs).
* Working on pumps, motors, valves, AHUs, HVAC systems, and associated mechanical plant.
* Ensuring all statutory compliance and health & safety requirements are met.
* Liaising with clients and site teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
* Completing maintenance reports and documentation accurately.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer within commercial building services.
* Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with FCUs is essential.
* Experience working on HVAC systems, AHUs, pumps, motors, and associated mechanical plant.
* Relevant Mechanical Engineering qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, Apprenticeship, or equivalent).
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

* £150 per week call-out allowance (1 in 3 rota)
