Responsibilities - Quality Specialist

Support and promote quality management processes across the site.
Drive a strong quality culture through hands-on engagement with production, engineering and supply chain teams.
Analyse quality data to identify trends, risks, non-conformances and opportunities for improvement.
Lead investigations into customer complaints and quality issues using structured root cause analysis methodologies.
Implement and monitor corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) to ensure long-term resolution of quality concerns.
Conduct internal audits and support supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Develop, monitor and improve supplier performance, addressing quality issues and supporting supplier development activities.
Assist with supplier approval processes and ongoing supplier quality management.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects and improving operational performance.
Review technical drawings and quality documentation to verify compliance with specifications.
Complete and review PPAP documentation where required.
Experience / Qualifications - Quality Specialist

Previous experience within a Quality, Supplier Quality or Manufacturing Quality role.
Strong knowledge of problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, Root Cause Analysis, Fishbone, 5 Whys or similar techniques.
Experience managing supplier quality performance and supplier development programmes.
Good understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
Experience conducting internal and supplier audits.
Proven background implementing and managing CAPA processes.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Experience completing or reviewing PPAP documentation.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Manufacturing, engineering or industrial sector experience would be highly advantageous.
A hands-on approach with a passion for solving technical and quality-related challenges.
