AgileSource are seeking an Technology, AI & Cloud Guardrails Architect for a new 3 - 4 Month Contract engagement.

We are seeking a senior architecture and governance professional to establish and mature enterprise-wide Technology, AI, and Cloud Guardrails. The role will define standards, governance frameworks, reusable architecture patterns, AI approval processes, cloud operating standards, and technology roadmaps to support safe, scalable, and controlled adoption of cloud and AI capabilities across the organisation

Key ResponsibilitiesAI Governance & Controls

• Define and maintain AI governance guardrails.
• Establish AI use-case assessment and approval frameworks.
• Define approved, restricted, and prohibited AI usage.
• Create and maintain AI tool and use-case registers.
• Ensure AI adoption aligns with enterprise governance and risk requirements.

Technology & Cloud Standards

• Develop technology and cloud standards.
• Define reusable architecture patterns and reference architectures.
• Establish cloud operating standards covering naming, tagging, monitoring, logging, resilience, and recovery.
• Create cloud patterns for AI workloads including security, identity, networking, integration, observability, and cost management.

Architecture Governance

• Produce architecture guidance, principles, standards, and decision records.
• Support technical assurance and governance reviews.
• Align standards across:
• Business Architecture
• Data Architecture
• Security Architecture
• Infrastructure Architecture
• Application Architecture

Roadmaps & Strategic Planning

• Develop current-state and target-state architecture views.
• Identify technology gaps and dependencies.
• Define transition roadmaps and maturity plans.
• Drive strategic alignment across technology domains.

Required Experience

• Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Architecture, or Technology Governance background.
• Experience defining AI governance frameworks and controls.
• Strong AWS architecture experience.
• Azure knowledge and multi-cloud awareness.
• Experience producing architecture standards, reference architectures, and governance frameworks.
• Experience with technical debt management and architecture roadmapping.
• Experience operating within regulated or large enterprise environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
