Security Vulnerability Analyst

Location: Barrow, Cumbria. Hybrid, 60% office, 40% remote

Duration: 3 months contract

MUST BE PAYE THROUGH UMBRELLA

Role Description:

Conduct regular vulnerability scans using Outpost24 to identify potential security risks within the IT infrastructure.
Collaborate with IT and security teams to prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk and impact.
Develop and implement strategies to remediate identified vulnerabilities, ensuring timely resolution.
Continuously monitor security systems and tools to detect potential threats and provide regular reports on the security posture and remediation progress.
Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal security policies.
Provide training to staff on best practices for security awareness and vulnerability management.
Identify and communicate current and emerging information security threats
Assess current technology architecture for vulnerabilities, weaknesses and for possible upgrades or improvement
Arrange and conduct Security Assurance Reviews and Assessment
Produce Security Assurance Review and Assessment Reports, and present findings to stakeholders
