The successful applicant will be responsible for all elements of planning for a busy domestic fleet, and this is an ideal role for those who thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The Job you will do:
* Plan and coordinate daily transport schedules to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
* Liaise with internal departments to ensure finished goods are prepared in line with loading schedules.
* Raise purchase and sales orders using internal systems and business software.
* Coordinate shipping and haulage arrangements with freight forwarding partners.
* Prepare and complete transport and shipping documentation accurately and within required timescales.
* Oversee the loading and dispatch of customer orders.
* Resolve operational issues promptly while delivering excellent customer service.
* Maintain high standards of service by following company procedures and compliance requirements.
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
* Contribute positively to the wider logistics team and support business objectives as required.
* Ensure the highest standards of customer and supplier care are consistently achieved.
About you:
* At least 3 years' experience in a Transport Planner or similar logistics role.
* Good knowledge of HGV transport regulations and compliance.
* Experience with transport management systems is essential
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
* Able to prioritise workload and work independently while meeting deadlines.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Confident using Microsoft Office and business systems.
* Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
* Able to work effectively with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
* Reliable, dependable and a collaborative team player
