We are currently seeking an experienced Van Technician to join a reputable highway maintenance company based in Larbert. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to further their automotive career within a well-established organisation. Benefits:
Competitive basic salary up to £49,400 with potential OTE of £53,000
Monday to Friday working week, 07:00 to 17:00
Saturdays paid at time and a half
Additional overtime paid at time and a half
Company pension scheme
Company van provided
Mobile phone supplied
Support with obtaining a Class 2 Driving Licence and telehandler training if required
Opportunities for career development and trainingDuties of a Van Technician :
Diagnose vehicle faults manually or using diagnostic software
Repair and replace faulty vehicle parts in a timely manner
Prepare accurate cost and time estimates for repairs as a Van Technician
Refer complex repairs or replacements to specialists as necessary
Maintain vehicle parts inventory in coordination with the Stores team
Liaise with Transport Managers regarding vehicle records and repairs
Offer mentorship to apprentices or work experience for individuals
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and company policiesRequirements of a Van Technician :
Level 2 or Level 3 Van Technician qualification preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered
Full UK driving licence is essential
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Self-motivated with a positive attitude
Strong problem-solving skills
