1:1 Outreach Tutor - Birmingham
As a 1:1 Outreach Tutor, you will create, plan, and deliver personalised lessons tailored to each pupil's individual needs, helping to bridge gaps in education while increasing engagement, confidence, and attainment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher looking to step away from the traditional classroom and make a meaningful difference through bespoke, one-to-one teaching.
Many of the pupils have been out of education for an extended period, meaning their confidence and motivation may be low. Your role will be to re-engage them with learning, establish positive routines, and provide the encouragement and support they need to achieve their potential.
Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including the use of Makaton and British Sign Language (BSL) to promote communication and inclusion, is highly desirable.
Prospero Teaching will work closely with you to monitor each pupil's progress and provide ongoing support to ensure positive learning outcomes.
