Are you an experienced HLTA looking for new opportunities in Birmingham?

Winner Education are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable HLTA to join our friendly Special Needs school in Sandwell. This is a temporary, full-time position, to start in September on a long term placement. You must have a HLTA qualification or have experience of being an unqualified teacher within Special Educational Needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to pupils with severe SEN requirements
Lesson planning
Deliver engaging and adaptable lessons
Tailor learning materials to the requirement of individual learners
Assist with pupil progress reports
Liaise with outside agencies when required
Work with children across KS3 ages

The successful HLTA will have:

Experience working with children with SEN
A relevant HLTA qualification
Confidence and adaptability
DBS on the update service
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and inspire young learners
An understanding of safeguarding and child protection
