An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Street Scene Supervisor to come and join a busy client in the South Yorkshire area. The role is an initial 6 month contract and is paying between £25-30ph (inside IR35).

The main duties of the experienced Street Scene Supervisor are:

To identify and explore opportunities for continuous improvement in service delivery ensuring value for money service is delivered whilst monitoring effectiveness of day to day occurrences.
All aspects of Staff management of a number of multi-disciplinary teams across a range of service areas, ensuring implementation of relevant policies and procedures, whilst complying with statutory and legislative requirements.
Responsibility for ensuring operations are compliant with relevant health and safety regulations during service delivery and future planning and prioritisation of works to minimise the risk to the Councils ability to operate
Establish, develop and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholder's communicating effectively providing specialist knowledge and advice in a variety of formats in a timely manner.
Exploring and implementation of new ways of working and delivering quality services including specialist IT systems
To provide specialist technical advice in relation to a range of operational activities, including carrying out site safety inspections for compliance with Health and safety.
Manage relevant data to ensure all work is recorded electronically.
To participate in the Councils standby arrangements including Tree maintenance and 24/7 standby cover. Take an active role in the event of an emergency, supporting, advising and assisting the Emergency Planning Team
To ensure working depots are operating safe and secure manner including staff, Vehicle and Plant, including carrying out regular audits.
Assisting with Contract development and preparing and agreeing quotations and specifications for individual jobs/projects/SLAs for clients
Ability to physically undertake a variety of tasks within a street scene capacity in all weathers.
