We are currently looking to recruit a CNC Turner Programmer/ Setter/ Operator based in Huddersfield (HD4 6BW)
The client is a Precision Engineering company that produces a wide variety of high-quality machined components.
Pay Rate:
£18 - £20 an hour based on experience
Working hours (SET Day Shift)
Monday – Thursday 07.00 – 17.15
NO WEEKENDS
Role Duties.
* To programme, set and operate Turning Centres with Fanuc control. (Experience with other control systems would be considered)
Key skills.
* Previous programming, setting & operating experience producing 1 off’s & small batches in a wide range of materials, incl exotics.
* Quality checking your own work using micrometers, bore mic’s, etc.
* Reading engineering drawings.
* Working to tight tolerances.
Ideally you will be:
* Be apprentice trained or have at least 3 years programming/ machining experience.
* Have experience producing high quality one offs and small batches.
