Health & Safety Coordinator
Manufacturing / Industrial Environment

We're recruiting for a Health & Safety Coordinator to join a well-established and recognised manufacturing business. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in driving safety standards across site while developing your own career within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.
Working closely with operational teams and leadership, you'll help maintain compliance, promote best practice, and contribute to a culture where safety remains a top priority.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and company standards
Support and maintain H&S systems aligned to ISO 45001
Conduct site inspections, audits and follow-up actions
Assist with risk assessments and safe systems of work
Investigate incidents, near misses and support corrective actions
Monitor safety trends and identify opportunities for improvement
Coordinate and support health & safety training activities
Promote a positive and proactive safety culture across the site
Support internal and external audits
Produce reports and analyse H&S performance data
About You
Previous experience within a Health & Safety role
NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification
Knowledge of ISO 45001 and management systems
Good understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation
Strong communication and organisational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the business
