MFL Teacher – Sheffield

The Supply Register is working in partnership with local schools in Sheffield to recruit a Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher for flexible supply opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about languages and inspiring students to develop their communication skills and cultural understanding across Key Stage 3 and 4.

The role includes:
• Delivering engaging MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Planning and adapting lessons to meet learner needs
• Encouraging active participation and a love of language learning
• Assessing, tracking, and providing feedback on student progress
• Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment
• Managing behaviour in line with school expectations
• Collaborating with department staff and wider school teams

We’re looking for candidates who:
• Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching a modern foreign language at secondary level
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Communicate effectively and professionally
• Hold high expectations for student achievement and behaviour
• Hold (or are willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
