Are you a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a supportive primary school?

The Supply Register is partnering with the L.E.A.D. Academy Trust to recruit a full-time Level 3 Teaching Assistant for Birley Spa Primary Academy, working within a Year 1 class from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils during a key stage of their learning while working as part of a welcoming and dedicated school team.

Your role will include:

Supporting whole-class learning in a Year 1 classroom
Leading small group and 1:1 interventions
Assisting with planning and classroom delivery
Supporting pupils with additional learning needs
Helping maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement
We're looking for:

A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
Experience supporting pupils in KS1
Confidence working independently with groups and individuals
Excellent behaviour management skills
A proactive, reliable and committed approach
