Are you an experienced and passionate SENCO looking for an exciting new opportunity this September? Do you have the vision and leadership skills to ensure every student receives the support they need to thrive?

An ambitious and inclusive secondary school in West London is seeking a dedicated SENCO to join its leadership team on a permanent basis from September.

You will lead the school's provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring that every pupil has access to high-quality teaching, tailored interventions, and the support required to achieve their full potential. You will work collaboratively with staff, parents, external agencies, and senior leaders to drive an inclusive culture where all students can succeed.

The Role

Permanent position starting in September
Lead and develop the school's SEND provision
Manage EHCPs, annual reviews, and statutory processes
Support and develop teachers to deliver high-quality inclusive teaching
Work closely with parents, carers, local authorities, and external professionals
Monitor student progress and ensure effective interventions are in place
Play a key role in the school's leadership of inclusion and student wellbeingThe Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or willingness to complete it
Previous experience as a SENCO or in a significant SEND leadership role
Excellent knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and current legislation
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
A genuine commitment to inclusion and improving outcomes for students with additional needs
Residence within ot ability to commute to West LondonThe School Offers
