Field Service Engineer (Forestry Equipment)

£35,000 - £40,000 (DOE) + No Callout + No Weekends + Training + Overtime + Days Based role + Holiday (increasing with years of service) + Pension

This exceptional business specialises in the manufacture, sale, service & maintenance of specialist plant equipment. They have an international portfolio and are expanding their UK operations continually. They have a reputation for a fantastic quality of product and service, as well as an extremely professional & friendly working environment.

In this role you will be working on the mechanical repair and maintenance of specialist machinery. There will be excellent internal training, so candidates with any experience in agriculture, plant, ex-forces or heavy lifting industries are encouraged to apply.

The role will be day's based and there will be some overtime to increase your earnings. The role will operate within a 100-mile radius of Andover meaning there will be no stay away or weekend work.

The ideal candidate will have experience on either forestry, agricultural or plant equipment and be comfortable being the face of the company out in the field, conducting service & maintenance on machinery at client's sites.

The Role:

*Field Service Engineer
*Repair of specialist forestry machinery
*Field based & customer facing role
*Good internal training and development

The Person:

*Mechanical maintenance background ( ideally with basic electrical skills)
*Any welding experience advantages
*Transferable industries, plant, agriculture and heavy lifting ( must have good knowledge of engines & hydraulics )
*Full UK drivers licence & be over 21 for insurance purposes
*Live commutable to Andover
