Your role as an ECT:
Manage behaviour quickly and effectively in order to maintain and foster the best learning environment for each and every child.
Build strong relationships with; staff, parents and most importantly pupils. Your relationships just be built on trust, honesty and respect.
Marking work at the end of each day in order to assess and monitor progress.
Planning may be expected when on a long-term placements - the pay will reflect this added responsibility too.
Enthusiasm to make a difference and support each child.
A pro-active 'can - do' attitude to each and every school you visit.
Confidence in supporting different learning needs within the class, ensuring every child is pushed to their full potential.What working for Academics can offer you as a Primary ECT
You will be working on a temporary basis for a reputable, highly regarded supply agency.
Regular work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
Work which suits your lifestyle, this may be daily / short / long term supply.
