Engineering Geologist
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
An established environmental consultancy is looking for an Engineering Geologist to join its growing Sheffield office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of residential, commercial and infrastructure projects while developing your technical and project management skills within a supportive team.
You'll be involved in all aspects of ground investigation, from planning and supervising site works through to logging soils and rock, factual reporting and liaising with clients. The company offers clear career progression, ongoing professional development and support towards chartership.
The Role:
Supervising ground investigations across a variety of sites.
Logging soil and rock to current industry standards.
Scheduling and overseeing site investigations.
Managing subcontractors and site works.
Preparing factual ground investigation reports.
Liaising with clients, contractors and the wider project team.
Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained on site.Requirements:
Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or a related subject.
Experience working within ground investigation or geotechnical consultancy.
Strong soil and rock logging skills.
Full UK driving licence.
