Salary: Competitive (DOE)
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

About the Company

Our client is a well-established manufacturer of high-quality uPVC and aluminium windows, doors, conservatories and glazing products. Supplying both trade and commercial customers across the UK, they have built an excellent reputation for quality, reliability and customer service, supported by continued investment in their people and manufacturing facilities.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll ensure production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards, while driving continuous improvement across the factory.

Working closely with the senior management team, you'll play a key role in maintaining operational performance, developing production teams and supporting the continued growth of the business.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include managing the daily production operation, ensuring manufacturing schedules are met and maintaining high standards of quality throughout the factory. You'll lead and develop production teams, monitor performance, and work closely with Planning, Warehouse and Transport to ensure customer orders are manufactured and delivered on time.

You'll also be responsible for monitoring production KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reducing waste and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Health & Safety will remain a key focus, alongside maintaining excellent housekeeping standards and ensuring machinery is operating safely in conjunction with the Engineering team.

As Production Manager, you'll be expected to resolve production issues quickly, support employee training and development, and help create a positive, high-performing culture across the manufacturing operation.

About You

We're looking for an experienced Production Manager or Manufacturing Manager with a strong background in fast-paced manufacturing. You'll be a confident leader who enjoys developing teams, improving processes and delivering results.

Experience within the window, door or wider fenestration industry would be highly advantageous, although candidates from similar manufacturing environments will also be considered. A good understanding of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement and production planning is essential, along with strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

Experience with ERP or production planning systems would also be beneficial.

Why Join?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected manufacturer with ambitious growth plans. You'll become part of a supportive management team where you'll have the autonomy to make improvements, influence production performance and contribute to the long-term success of the business.
