Production MIG Welder
Location: Redditch
Pay: £12.90 per hour + 22% shift allowance (where applicable)
We are currently recruiting for a Production MIG Welder to join a busy manufacturing company in Redditch.
This is a production welding role where your sole responsibility will be carrying out repetitive MIG welding within a dedicated welding booth. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys production work and is happy carrying out the same welding tasks throughout their shift.
The Role
Production MIG welding of mild steel components.
Welding material thicknesses between 1mm and 2mm.
Working from jigs and fixtures to produce consistent, high-quality welds.
Carrying out repetitive welding tasks in a dedicated welding booth.
Completing work to production targets while maintaining quality standards.
Following all health and safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
Previous MIG welding experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience welding thin gauge mild steel (1mm–2mm).
Able to produce neat, consistent welds.
Comfortable carrying out repetitive production welding for the duration of the shift.
Reliable with a good attitude and strong attention to detail.
