Are you a passionate and dedicated Science teacher who thrives on inspiring curiosity, discovery, and a love of learning? We are working with forward-thinking and inclusive secondary schools in and around Daventry that are seeking dynamic Science Teachers for a September 2026 start. These full-time positions are available on either a contract or permanent basis, offering an excellent opportunity to join well-resourced Science departments and make a lasting impact on students' education.
About the Role:
Deliver engaging, high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available depending on experience)
Plan creative and inclusive lessons that support students of all abilities in developing strong scientific understanding
Use practical experiments and investigations to bring Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to life
Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback to support achievement
Contribute to departmental planning, STEM initiatives, enrichment activities, science clubs, and educational trips
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and support whole-school improvement
We're Looking For:
A qualified teacher with QTS/QTLS (or equivalent) and a specialism in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science
Strong subject knowledge and a secure understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies
The ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students of all abilities
A commitment to high standards, academic progress, and fostering scientific curiosity
Excellent classroom management, organisation, and teamwork skills
ECTs are welcome to apply, with full induction and mentoring support provided
