ANZUK Education is working with a highly regarded independent junior school in West London seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their thriving team from September 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Year 2 curriculum.

* Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and confidence.

* Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress, providing timely feedback and appropriate interventions where needed.

* Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.

* Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attainment, and presentation.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to curriculum planning and school initiatives.

* Build positive relationships with parents and carers to support pupils' learning and wellbeing.

* Contribute to the wider life of the school, including co-curricular activities and school events.

The Ideal Teacher Will:

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

* Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.

* Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum.

* Be an enthusiastic and reflective practitioner committed to high standards of teaching and learning.

* Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

* Be dedicated to supporting the holistic development of every child.

* Work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
