Express Recruitment are working in partnership with an established Engineering firm in their recruitment of three Electricians, covering the Yorkshire area such as Leeds, Barnsley and Sheffield.
This is a full-time permanent role paying c£45k-£50k per annum plus overtime, which is paid 1.5 x per hour until Saturday afternoon, and 2 x per hour thereafter. The working hours are Monday – Friday 7am-3pm. There is also a van included.
Skills & Experience
* Electrical apprenticeship or Level 3 Electrical qualification (minimum)
* Valid CSCS JIB card holder
* Confined Space trained
* HV trained, assessed and authorised
* Strong understanding of electrical health & safety practices
Roles & Responsibilities
* Install, test, maintain and inspect electrical systems up to specified LV DC and AC voltages
* Support work on HV systems up to specified distribution levels under supervision of authorised personnel
* Install electrical equipment including control panels, motors, control systems and associated infrastructure
* Select, install and maintain cable management systems and associated containment
* Carry out fault finding and diagnostic investigations on electrical installations and systems
* Support multi-discipline teams including mechanical and civil functions where required
* Work in accordance with permit-to-work systems, RAMS and site-specific procedures
