Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a welcoming primary school?
We are working with a fantastic school seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to provide classroom support across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, helping pupils achieve their full potential in a positive and inclusive learning environment.
The Role
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to reinforce learning.
Support children with varying abilities, including pupils with SEND and additional learning needs.
Encourage positive behaviour through praise, consistency, and effective classroom support.
Prepare learning resources and assist with classroom organisation.
Promote pupils' confidence, independence, and engagement in learning.
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENDCOs, and support staff.
Requirements
✔ Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
✔ A minimum of 6 months' UK school-based experience within the last 2 years is essential.
✔ Experience supporting children within a UK primary school.
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills.
✔ A positive, proactive, and nurturing approach to supporting children.
