Are you a passionate Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding permanent role where you can genuinely change lives?
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a specialist team supporting blind and visually impaired young adults aged 16–25 based at the Nescot campus in Epsom.
This is an opportunity to work in a highly specialist setting where you'll help learners overcome barriers, build confidence, develop independence and achieve their educational and personal goals. Every day is different, and every day you'll make a real impact.
What You'll Be Doing
Providing classroom and one-to-one support to learners.
Encouraging independence and promoting confidence.
Supporting access to learning through adapted resources.
Working closely with teachers and specialist professionals.
Helping create an inclusive, positive learning environment.Essential Requirements
Level 1 or Level 2 Braille qualification – essential.
A compassionate, patient and positive approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience supporting young people or adults with additional needs is desirable.
