The Role:

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work across a mainstream primary school within the Egham area. The ideal educator would have experience working either 1-1 or within small groups of students either in a mainstream primary or SEN School. The school in question are re-arranging staff for September, but have confirmed the ideal candidate would be happy to work across KS2 either 1-1 or within an inclusion base.

Key Responsibilities:

-Providing 1:1 support to a student or small group work within a resource base

-Helping to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.

-Supporting students in completing assigned work and encouraging independent learning.

-Monitoring student progress and reporting any concerns to the class teacher.

Key Requirements:

-Passion for education and helping students succeed.

-Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with young people.

-Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to supporting students.

-Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is important

-A willingness to learn and develop new skills (training can be provided).
