A respected fire consultancy is looking for a confident Fire Engineer to join their expanding team. This is a strong opportunity for a Fire Engineer who wants to work on a varied portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, healthcare and education sectors.

The Fire Engineer's Role

The successful Fire Engineer will produce fire strategy reports, undertake fire safety reviews, attend design team meetings and provide technical advice throughout RIBA stages. The Fire Engineer will work closely with architects, developers and contractors to deliver practical, compliant fire safety solutions.

The Fire Engineer

The successful Fire Engineer will have:

A degree in Fire Engineering or a related discipline
Experience producing fire strategies
Knowledge of Approved Document B, BS 9999 and BS 7974
Strong report writing skills
Experience working on UK-based projects
Membership of the IFE would be advantageous
