Contract: Full Time
Salary: £45,000-£50,000
Contracted Hours: 45

About You
You’re someone who takes ownership and makes things happen:
Proven experience in logistics, import/export or supply chain (FMCG or food manufacturing is a big plus)
Strong knowledge of international trade, customs compliance and Incoterms
Experience managing freight forwarders, 3PLs and logistics partners
Comfortable working with ERP/WMS systems and data (Excel skills essential)
A natural problem-solver with strong organisational and negotiation skills
Confident communicating and influencing across teams and stakeholders
A continuous improvement mindset (Lean / Six Sigma experience is a bonus)
Key Responsibilities
Imports & Exports
Own all import and export activity — documentation, compliance, freight and delivery
Ensure shipments meet UK, EU and international trade and food safety regulations
Build strong relationships with freight forwarders, hauliers and customs agents
Monitor shipments, troubleshoot delays and keep everything moving
Logistics & Warehouse Operations
Oversee the flow of goods from supplier to production and factory to customer
Work closely with warehouse teams to improve stock accuracy and efficiency
Track and drive performance through KPIs (delivery, cost, turnaround, inventory)
Support peak periods, product launches and promotional planning
Continuous Improvement
Lead initiatives to streamline processes, reduce waste and improve performance
Use data to identify opportunities and drive smarter ways of working
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Production, Procurement and Quality teams
Deliver clear reporting and insights to support business decisions
