£25k - £26k Annual
Full-Time
We are assisting a national supported living provider who are seeking full time Support Worker to work in Eastry. We also have opportunities in the Margate area as well!

You will support people with complex health needs and various learning disabilities. The perfect person for this role will either have, or be genuinely interested in developing, similar hobbies to the people we support. You'll need to be flexible with how you communicate – things like speaking clearly, slowing down when needed, and using the right words to describe things. There are two services really close to each other, so you might work at both.

Full Training is offered, as well as great progression and career development into management opportunities.

You must have a driving license and own your own car.

Shift patterns are 7am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm , and some over nights which are 10 pm – 7am. You do get your rota 4-6 weeks in advance, but you must be flexible to work across 7 days. There is no visa sponsorship offered, so you will need full right to work in the UK.

5 shifts across 7 days

Responsibilities

* Assisting individuals with personal care, daily routines, and activities

* Supporting clients to access community resources and participate in social activities

* Developing and implementing personalised care plans in collaboration with the team and clients

* Encouraging independence whilst ensuring safety and wellbeing at all times

* Maintaining accurate records of support provided and any changes in client needs

Skills

* Experience working with children or vulnerable adults is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided

* Good communication skills to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, and external professionals

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a supportive environment

* Basic IT skills for record keeping and updating care plans
