Anderson Knight is looking to recruit a Part Qualified Management Accountant to join one of our long-standing clients based in the outskirts of Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company in a key role within the finance team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the key duties of this role will include:
* Prepare and review monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
* Analyse financial performance and provide commentary on variances to budget and forecast
* Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end processes
* Liaise with internal stakeholders to provide financial information and analysis
* Assist with the preparation of annual statutory accounts and tax returns
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
* Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency
* Support the Finance Manager with ad hoc projects and analysis as required.
The ideal candidate will possess the following key skills:
* Currently studying towards completing their ACCA/CIMA professional qualifications
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret data
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience using accounting software
* Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
