Circa £27,000 p/a, Monday - Friday, 8am until 4pm, North Chailey, 28 days paid holiday including bank holidays, pension contributions, Health Insurance, office dogs and staff discount on products.
The Role
We are delighted to be working with a premium brand located in the North Chailey area who are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join their team. The Customer Service Advisor is responsible for handling the company's customer service and order processing, working and communicating with team members to ensure customer orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
You will be responsible for:
Act as the main point of contact for all customer enquiries via email, live chat and telephone
Respond to customers within agreed SLAs, offering professional and solution-focused support
Provide product guidance and general advice to customers
Manage and resolve customer complaints in line with company procedures
Process customer orders, including liaising with the warehouse for timely fulfilment
Handle refunds, replacements and credits accurately
Process and monitor logistics claims for delayed or damaged deliveries
Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions
Work closely with production, warehouse and finance teams to resolve issues
The Person
We expect the successful candidate to have solid Customer Service experience. Previous experience working in a manufacturing, FMCG, or ecommerce environment would be an advantage. You will need to be a confident communicator, able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly. Strong administration skills are necessary for this role - as are attention to detail for ensuring high levels of data accuracy.
This role would suit someone who has worked as a Customer Service Representative, Customer Sales Administrator or Call Centre Agent.
